Several years ago I was working in the old Admin Guard Post. For some reason I had you on my mind, my brother. I never saw you Aussie, you passed away before I was born but I was thinking about you that day.

Two people came in the guard post but I had my back toward them because I was working on the computer which faced the other way. I asked them if I could help them and I heard a ladies' voice tell me she and her son needed a visitor's pass so they could visit some people in administration.

Without turning around I asked what her name was and she told me. I made her a visitor's pass and still I didn't turn around to look at them. I then asked what her son's name was and in a voice that was full of joy I heard this little boy say: My name is Aussie! I wheeled around in that chair and there stood this little toe-headed boy with blond, curly locks of hair looking and smiling at me. It seemed as if he was looking way down deep in my soul.

I was struck dumb for the moment and then I finally managed to ask--Your name is Aussie?  Yes! my name is Aussie and he began to giggle! Was God giving me a glimpse of you through this little boy? I don't know to this day but I suspicion that God saw my heart yearning to see you that day and He sent two of His angels to visit me.
Shortly after this encounter I found this picture and I believe God directed me to this picture and I also believe this is how you looked, my brother.
I made this page special for you Aussie.

Austin Luther Leeth was born on Thursday, April 16th, 1931 and passed on into the arms of His Loving Saviour on Saturday, April 15th, 1933 having lived upon this earth 1 day less than 2 years. He was laid to rest on his 2nd birthday, Sunday, April 16th, 1933 To my knowledge there was never a picture taken of him. Somehow this one just seemed to fit.

I know that some day I shall see him. He was the first child and the first decendent of Henry Jennings Leeth and of Hazel Rosetta (Penwell) Leeth to enter heaven and he now has had his residence there longer than any of us who have since entered those gates that lead to eternal life.

In my mind and in my spirit I can see him greeting every new arrival of our family who has gone home. Can't you just see Aussie as he greeted his mother and our mother Hazel when she entered those gates. There had to have been shouts that rang out all over the hills of glory that day.

KJV Matthew 18:10-14

10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
